There are several manufacturers of display elements, mainly represented in the Far East. Each manufacturer has its own focus. Martinsson has extensive experience in the display market and help you choose the right supplier to meet your needs.

We represent suppliers like Kyocera, focused on industiella applications. Kyocera offers displays with long life cycle which maintains the mechanical dimensions and interfaces when developing new displays and improving the existing range. These are two important arguments for customers that manufacture their product for many years. Kyocera can also offer some adjustments in the optical performance such as "superwide view", "inner touch," and so on. Resistive touch screens belong to the standard technology and is most cost effecient today where the film / glass ie. plastic film as touch surface is standard. For customers who place higher demands on readability and demanding environments, we also offer glass / glass technology that is less susceptible to wear, moisture and high temperatures.

Capacitive technology is preferably used in applications where gloves and moisture is not present. Advantages of this technique is that it can be integrated into a completely flat surface and is better suited to "slide" technology.

Martinsson offers both a standard range of monitors and monitors specifically designed and adapted to your application. We can supply monitors from 6.5 inches to 80 inches. It is also possible to integrate a touch panel of various technologies, Resistive, Capacitive, SAW and IR. Standard products are manufactured mainly in Korea and Taiwan. In order to run today's TFT displays platforms with high performance are required. The processor must support a high data transmission to handle the display resolution and 24bit color. We have optimized platforms for this purpose based on RISC (Smartphones, e-Readers) or X86 (PC).
