The importance of various sensors in today's electronics is increasing and therefore Martinsson is expanding its sensor range. Our sensors measure / provide information on location, light, color, temperature, humidity, flow, acceleration, vibration and angles.

Motion sensors

Sensors for motion detection. Also for start / stop functionality.

Tilt Angles: Detects the angle, change the angle.
Acceleration: Detects acceleration.
Vibration: Detects changes in the ongoing movement.
Motion: Detects changes in motion.
Shock: Detects big movements.

Signal Quest specializes in motion sensors. They are very power efficient (50nA).
The sensors are ideal for providing increased battery life in applications where motion should activate the electronics or draw a picture after the equipment's location.

Temperature and humidity sensors

Temperature and humidity sensors are used to control the environment.

Liquid sensors

Sensors for measuring fluid, flow, injection.

- Fluid sensors are available for most liquids.
- Flow Measurement: 1.5 μl / min to 80ml/min
- Measurement by Sensirions CMOS ® technology.

Sensirions fluid sensors work with flow rates from nanoliters to milliliters. They consist of a straight flow channel. It can be plastic or glass. The fluid passes without coming into contact with the environment. The flow is measured with Sensirions CMOS ® technology, which means that the liquid is heated and passes the measurement chip which gives a very accurate measurement.

- Very high accuracy: 3% to 10% depending on type
- Response time: 20ms-40ms depending on the type

Intelligent light sensors

Sensors for measuring light

Ambient Light Sensors: ALS - Detects the ambient light
Color Sensors: Detects colors and color temperature
Proximity sensor: Detects the presence and movement around the product
Linear sensors: Senses of the surroundings with photodiodes
Light Sensors: Detects light to frequency or voltage

Sensors that work with light and surroundings. 

Ambient Light Sensors: so-called ALS. Senses the ambient light as the eye curve. IR + photodiode in a hood, 16-bit resolution 1-50lux, LUX output, I2C output. ALS is by proxy.
Color Sensors: Integrated color filters. RGB color, 4 color sensors. 16 bit resolution. I2C output. Can be combined with the proxy.
Proximity sensor: so-called Proxy to detect the presence and movement, 0-1m distance. Also available with ALS and color detection in the same hood.
Linear Sensors: Measures the light intensity of a given surface with ph
otodiode arrays. 64-1536 points. 200-400dpi. 4000:1. Analog or I2C output
Light Sensors: Directly proportional to light intensity. Exit to frequency or voltage. High linearity. No external components. Programmable.
